Designed in 1963 by Ilmari Tapiovaara for Laukaan Puu, Finland, this “Hongisto” dining set is a refined example of Tapiovaara’s commitment to honest materials and functional design.
Crafted in solid pine, the table features a softened-edge rectangular split top, separated by visible dowels - a detail typical of Tapiovaara’s joinery, creating a subtle floating effect.
Paired with six matching Hongisto dining chairs, also in solid pine, with shaped backrests and seats that echo the table’s light, architectural construction.
The set retains its original varnish and shows gentle surface wear and tonal variation consistent with age and use.

Produced during the mid-20th century, Reynolds of Ludlow pieces were exhibited at the Festival of Britain and sold through prestigious retailers like Heals and Dunns, securing the brand’s place in British design history.
Handcrafted in native Yew wood, this table highlights the material's natural charm, with its contrasting blond sapwood, straight grain, and distinctive knots. Following Reynolds’ philosophy, the wood’s unique qualities, including natural edges and fissures, were intentionally preserved to let the timber “speak for itself.”

Produced from the early 1930s in Leipzig, the design reflects a functional approach to lighting - reduced, practical, and suited to everyday use. Its form is defined by clarity of structure and an economy of means, with each element serving a direct purpose.
Green enamelled finish, the stem moves up and down and the shade pivots from left to right to adjust the direction of the light.

A classic and quietly sculptural design, formed from bent birch plywood with solid birch armrests, reflecting Aalto’s approach to natural materials and organic form. Originally made for the Paimio Sanitorium for use in entrance halls and waiting spaces, it is an iconic piece of Scandinavian modernism
Both chairs display an even patina from age and use. There is evidence of earlier veneer cracking to the curved seat sections, which appears to have been stabilised or repaired at some point in their life. Fine lines remain visible in the grain, typical of bent birch over time. This is a cosmetic characteristic and does not affect the strength or usability of the chairs. Original screws seem to have been replaced too.
The chairs can also be sold separately.
